I just beat Rush'n Attack for NES and I feel it was impossible without save states. I feel you needed to be Jesus in the game to beat it without them. Do you think that it enhances your enjoyment of the game or it takes away from the 'Retroness' of the game?... and that using them makes you a cheater?

save state are good for learning to beat a game but you havent beaten it till you dont use them.shootem up have the same thing you can continue but you havent beaten it until you 1 credit clear the game.just my opinion.

Well it doesnt force you to have to beat something in one sit down ,unless its fairly short to beat. If it takes more than a few hours,then using one would be fine as youd could take a break from it. |
